Market Street Festival
From 10:00am-5:00pm the streets and parks of historic downtown Lewisburg will be filled with artists, entertainment, and food. Over 120 artists in a juried show and sale of beautiful, handcrafted treasures will be arrayed down the center of Market Street. Entertainment will be on stage at Hufnagle Park, Post Office Square, Food Court Fanfare at 4th and Market and Soldiers’ Memorial Park will host the Interactive Arts Park for children and adults.
The day begins with a flag-raising ceremony at the Federal building on the corner of Market and 3rd Sts., and the Children’s Pet Parade up and down Market Street. The Pet Parade will step off at 10:15am in Hufnagle Park; join others as they march up and down Market Street with their favorite animals, including rabbits, cats, dogs, and ducks. At 10:00am, the artist booths and food booths open to the public, and the full day of fun begins.
