Community Alliance for Respect and Equality is a group of Susquehanna Valley residents committed to the belief in the equal treatment for all.

Union County Democratic Committee
Stop by the UCDC booth to get the latest information on who is running for office this year. Make an informed choice by getting the information you need. We will be selling ready-made buttons or you can make one of your own. In addition, we are collecting non-perishable food items for donation to Haven Ministries, a local shelter and food bank.

Buffalo Creek Watershed Alliance
Dedicated to improving the environmental health of Buffalo Creek and its watershed.

Bucknell Child Language Research
A study program to conduct research on how babies learn the words of their language.

La Leche League
Groups from Lewisburg, Danville, and Bloomsburg will provide information on breastfeeding, nutrition, parenting, and local meetings.

Neighbors and Newcomers Club
A social and support organization which provides a variety of opportunities to members and their immediate families in the local area, regardless of how long they have lived here.

Habitat For Humanity
The Union-Snyder Habitat For Humanity is organized to aid in the building of homes in partnership with God’s people in need. They provide local residents opportunities for volunteer service, improve the lives of neighbors, and enhance the quality of the larger community.

Central PA Rowing Association
A community-based rowing program that offers coached rowing for youth, ages 12-17, and adults over 18. CPRA hosts summer learn-to-row sessions for both youth and adults through LARA.

Merrill Linn Land and Waterways Conservancy
Serves to protect the land and waterways in Union and contiguous counties for educational, ecological, recreational, agricultural, and scientific opportunities.

Susquehanna Greenway Partnership
Dedicated to developing and sustaining the Susquehanna Greenway to connect communities and enrich lives through enhanced recreation, healthy living, economic prosperity and environmental stewardship.

Bucknell University Interfraternity Council
April 30th • “Art in the Park”

The Bucknell University Interfraternity Council (IFC) will be hosting the “Art in the Park – Bucknell for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital” on April 30th.  IFC is the governing body and voice of the Fraternity system at Bucknell, and through IFC, Fraternities can give back, offer resources, and make great change in the local community and in the world as well. The event is an art competition for children of all ages, complete with prizes, judges, and much more. All proceeds will benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Pray For Japan
Local Japanese community is working together with Bucknell University, Susquehanna University and Red Cross to help the victims of disaster in Japan. Authentic Origami craft, Japanese hand craft (T-shirts, etc.), cookies, and more will be sold, all of whose sales will go to Japan as donations. The information on the future activities will also be available.

Green Dragon Foundation
