Central Susquehanna Ballroom Dance Society

The Susquehanna Ballroom Dance Society is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote ballroom dancing in the Williamsport and surrounding areas. Founded 3 years ago, it is owned by Tony Thomke and Nancy Machinski, local dance instructors. The SBDS currently hosts ballroom dancing in the Genetti Grand Ballroom once a month for those wishing to come and dance. There are an average of 120 – 140 dancers at these dances and they continue to grow. SBDS offers dance classes in three counties involving beginner, intermediate and advanced dance instructions.
